May is here which means summer is officially around the corner and with the promise of warm weather we get a ton of new shit to eat! As I always mention, when the seasons change more produce and meat become available at cheaper prices making it the perfect time to try new recipes and stack up on in-stock kitchen staples. This month there’s a lot of fruit (perfect for your smoothies), tons of veggies (great for flat tummies and healthy eating), and some lean protein (necessary for muscle gains). Check out the list below and get cookin’.

Bonus: Here are a few recipes I would make any day of the week. You should try one this weekend.


Avocado Toast - It may be a basic b*tch staple but it's worth working into your weekly breakfast routine. Not only are Avocados delicious but they are full of good fats and nutrients your body needs.


Grilled Lamb - This Mediterranean-inspired recipe is perfect for summer. You’ll get a blast of deep flavor and can serve it warm or cold. Either way is delicious.


Zucchini Saute - This veggie staple is perfect for those looking to cut carbs and eat healthily and can be used in a variety of different ways (my favorite is Zoodles). Check out this easy recipe that's perfect for a side dish or a snack.
